I'm guessing he has more pressing concerns to think about than baseball rosters.
Besides, I thought he was more of a basketball guy than a baseball guy.
And no, I can't name a player, as I don't have a favorite baseball team.

Yes.
And I don't care of the POTUS isn't concerned about staying up-to-date with a baseball team's roster. Seems like he'll be damned if he does and damned if he doesn't though.

It's not that he couldn't name his favorite player from today, but his favorite from his boyhood in the "southside". There's no fucking point in showing such blatant favoritism to one city, especially when it shows how much of a connection he actually doesn't have.
This isn't the second time this has happened, either. He invited the Chicago Fire to the White House last June, even though they haven't won shit.

I'm not going to smack him for something I can't do, either. He has plenty of OTHER cr@p he's screwing up. I don't have to smack him on sports.

I know a guy here that claims to be the biggest Phillies fan on the planet. Yet, he has every Twins app available on his facebook page, and doesn't own a single thread of Philly apparel. In fact when I asked him to name his favorite player from the team, he said Joe Mauer, and I am not kidding. Made himself look like a dum-dum in front of the whole football team.
