Get yo popcorn ready Skins fans.
Washington Redskins quarterback Donovan McNabb has encouraged the team's coaching staff to consider signing free-agent wide receiver Terrell Owens, despite the acrimony that marked their time as Philadelphia Eagles teammates, according to multiple sources.

Don't worry, if you keep reading the article, it sounds like the skins aren't actively pursuing Owens.

Nice story and all, except for the fact that McNabb never said he wanted TO in DC.

"Quarterback Donovan McNabb has not encouraged the Redskins to sign free-agent wide receiver Terrell Owens and is not interested in reuniting with his former Philadelphia Eagles teammates, McNabb on Tuesday night told Post columnist Michael Wilbon.
Citing multiple sources, ESPN reported earlier Tuesday that McNabb encouraged coaches to consider signing Owens. In a phone conversation, Wilbon said, McNabb stressed he never lobbied for Washington's coaches to consider bringing in Owens, who is 37 and is coming off the worst season statistically (55 catches, 829 yards and 5 TDs) of his career as a starter."
Also, Wilbon is a douche who just likes to think he is on the in with DC's athletes.

Keep in mind that Wilbon is a Philly-hater as well, so any report that riles up Philadelphia is his preference. He probably wacks off at night to a painting of McNabb throwing to TO to beat the Eagles.

He hates Philly because there are white people there.

That's about the only chance TO has of catching a ball now.

Now DC will get to see what Eagle fans have known for years. Every time McNabb opens his mouth he says soemthing stupid. Has McNabb annointed himself the leader of the Redskins yet? You can always tell who the true leaders are, they are the ones who go around telling people that they are a leader. I'm sure that the Redskins receivers are thrilled that their "leader" is campaigning for a new receiver.
Just wait until there is a problem or controversy, then you will get to see the passive/aggressive McNabb; the one who says that he is taking the high road, but then throws everyone else under the bus. In fact, I think the reason that McNabb throws so many balls at peoples feet is because it's the same throwing motion he uses to throw people under the bus.
I'm so glad that he gets to annoy fans of another team for a change.

Wilbon isn't the only one who heard a McNabb denial. The same day this came out, he told Rachel Nichols that someone was putting out lies about this.
