Good choice. Send Calipari instead. His greasy presence would be perfect for an NBA team.

Calipari stunk in the NBA. Of course, the NBA as a whole stinks....

SuperHornet's Athletics Hall of Fame includes Jacksonville State kicker Ashley Martin, the first girl to score in a Division I football game. She kicked 3 PATs in a 2001 game for J-State.

The headline shouldn't be "Izzo Makes a Decision", in all honesty it could be titled "LeBron didn't return Izzo's calls". If Gilbert really, really wanted Izzo, he should've waited until AFTER July 1st. I'm 99.9% sure Izzo's answer to the Cavs would've been the same that LeBron's will be.

Good choice by Izzo, bad choice for the rest of the Big 10 (12).

Great choice by Izzo, from a purely selfish point of view. I loathe the NBA and think it is a complete waste of space (aren't the finals starting in a couple weeks)? I have always enjoyed watching his teams play. Even when he doesn't have the best of rosters or has a roster chock full of injuries, he almost always manages to stay competitive (i.e., last season). And he seems like a pretty classy guy, the exact opposite of say a Calipari.

He fled UMass before the NCAA hammered them on Camby. I believe he coached a couple blah seasons and got canned. Nets, I believe.

Or maybe he got called back and got his answer. :twocents:
"Elaine, you're from Baltimore, right?"
"Yes, well, Towson actually."
