Post by clenz »

Or so I heard. I had to ump 4 games today so I missed them go down 8-3 in the third, score five runs in the 9th to tie then win 13-10 in 11.

I just thought you should all know, even though you probably don't give a rats ass

I'll trade AJ Hinch for Charlie Manuel and a box of baseballs.

I'll take that trade. Don't even need the baseballs.

Perhaps we should cannonize Hinch today, since the D-Backs broke their 14 GAME road losing streak about half an hour ago.

I heard on the radio this morning that the last time the Phillies blew a 5 run lead in the 9th inning was 1961. Nice comeback by the Twins.

Also, give Philly fans credit, after Thome hit a 2-run homer in the 9th to make it 9-6 he was cheered. :thumb:

The one classy thing Philly fans have ever done and it came during an epic meltdown.

Doubt them doing anything classy will every happen again.

Wrong.

I was at the game where Flyers fans gave Mario Lemieux a standing ovation upon his return from cancer.

So that is two classy things... :D
