I remember you doing this at the BEGINNING of the season, and look how long that lasted.

Dude if you do this I really want to say thank you, sincerely. I ain't trying to just pick on ya on that other thread but if you see that others are asking for you to make it more livable and you try and fix it then I got all the respect in the world for that.

Thanks, Travis! I hope you can keep to this.
BTW, is there a setting available on this site that allows you to put a thread on 'ignore'.

Yeah that isn't an option. I did put Travis on ignore to get rid of the stuff and then take him back off of ignore football season last year.
Having it in one thread is quite manageable however.

I heard that due to all the injuries, the team will now be called the Red Cross Sox.

That's why mine is just the Official New York Yankees thread, that way it carries on year to year.
I don't really see a need to merge them all, but just continue using this one from here on out.

Dustin Pedroia is on his knees taking grounders at second base. He played catch on his knees earlier.

well he still has the broken bone in his foot, but as Francona just said. "He'll abide by (rehab) rules, but he'll bend them as much as he can." lol

It's unbelievable how many injuries the Sox have had. I looked at the box score of Wednesday's game and it seemed like the only guys in the lineup who were projected to be regulars on Opening Day were Ortiz and Youkilis.

Scutaro, Beltre too... but still thats half the lineup gone, plus 2/5 of the starting rotation... though Buchholz should be back this weekend.

Arizona called Red Sox today trying to get them to take Chris Snyder. Gotta imagine at some point a deal would get done unless Sox have lost interest in Snyder, obviously they didn't wanna seem overly excited today because the cost would probably be higher... wait a few days and they can get him for a bit less.

With this stuff all in one thread I'm actually reading it now.
I thought it was gonna be easier to navigate around if it was all in one thread instead of not reading any of them but now I'm reading the thing instead of skipping over it.

Would like to thank the Tampa Bay Rays for allowing the Red Sox and its minor league players put on a simulated game for Josh Beckett today. He was supposed to go in Sarasota today but forecasted rains had the Sox bring up some kids from the minors to Tampa for the day. Beckett shook the kids hands after the game and thanked them.
