Then they sign enough players at the mid level and veterans minimum to field a team and retire the LO'B trophy for the next 5-7 years...

Stephen A Smith and his sources=biggest bust in all of sports. All this means is that LeBron and Bosh are NOT going to Miami.

I'll take Paris Hilton's opinion on the NBA before I take Stephen A Smith's (and Skip Bayless). Webster's definition of "clueless" says "See Him".

I heard today that Wade is gonzo from Miami. I hate the sports rumors.

Isn't there a saying, "Too many chefs spoil the broth"? Can these three guys make a winner?

I don't know, but if the players are allowed to collude, then the owners should be as well.

If this happens then I will have no respect for LeBron. He's admitting that he can't win a championship by letting a team build around him. Jordan waited for the Bulls to build around him and then won 6 titles. Kobe may have had Shaq for his first three titles, but he won the last two by letting the Lakers build around him.

Maybe so, but anything you picked up from his writing that led you to that opinion was simply the result of his sensationalism. If you had been in the Philly market for the past couple of decades, you'd realize that he simply regurgitates what he heard on the WIP morning show that day (or probably WFAN when he's not in Philly). The guy has no original thoughts, I am firmly convinced.

I hear that Lebron is giving up basketball altogether,
and taking up soccer instead.

I guess LeBron realized thatr he wasn't good enough to lead a team to a title, so he'll ride on Wade's and Bosh's coat tails. Because of this, he will never be considered in the same light as Jordan, Bird, Magic or Kobe.

They might win 1 title. It's a long season, and to play injury free and put a title run together is tough.

I think it will considered a failure if they only win one. Even if one gets hurt, the other two might be able to win it all.

I hope you are right though, I just became a huge Kobe fan. Go Lakers. :thumb:
