If you follow UFC/MMA at all you know this guy's name. He has been an unstoppable force for about a decade in the Heavyweight MMA division. His Russian Mob management team may have made a mistake in not taking a big money series to get him into UFC where he was gonna get 1.5 million for a single fight.
This is about like when Tyson lost to Douglas to those that aren't familiar with the MMA.

I don't follow the sport, but it's pretty amazing to see a guy lose on a technical feat like that vice just getting their head bashed to a pulp.

That's a huge part of MMA. The chokes, arm bars, heel locks, and all forms of Martial Arts provide much offense and therefore the need to be adept at defending many styles. He's been in those kinds of positions many, many times as was able to properly defend himself but he got caught being careless and Werdum knew he was gonna sell out and go for the knock out and was ready for it and sunk a triangle choke in to the hilt. Shit he almost could've sunk an arm bar in at several points there. You can never take a nap with those Jiu Jitsu guys.
I would have lost a ton of money if someone bet me that Fedor's first loss would be on him tapping out. He was so fucked.

Btw, I was watching that with my eyes half shut kind of expecting the dude's arm to break. I thought you were suckering us into one of those bull horn through the bottom of the mouth threads.
