How is he a pro wrestling reject? It seems to me that he had a decent pro wrestling career, not that it (or the NFL) has anything to do with his MMA career.SuperHornet wrote:Nothing more than a pro wrestling reject who thought he was NFL material. I guess the third time had to be the charm, right? It's amazing how soon glory comes to MMA "starlets." He's going to blow out VERY soon. I seriously doubt he'd beat Shamrock or Gracie in their primes.

Kinda funny that Lesnar has ties to the ND area. I know that Dana White went out to visit Lesnar in ND a few months back and I think in the interview he said Brock has a house or some property there.BigSkyBears wrote:Carwin is a Greeley native. Too bad he lost. He'll be back.
Both of those are a bit rough for your sort hen. That's why they invented Golf.89Hen wrote:MMA and Texas Hold-em.![]()

Easy there, killer. I like all three of those.Ursus A. Horribilis wrote:Both of those are a bit rough for your sort hen. That's why they invented Golf.89Hen wrote:MMA and Texas Hold-em.![]()

Well you're different. You know the value of both the leather and the lace. Hen's one dimensional and only dresses in the lace. I think Golf is a ton of fun, don't get me wrong.AZGrizFan wrote:Easy there, killer. I like all three of those.Ursus A. Horribilis wrote: Both of those are a bit rough for your sort hen. MMA is rough, no doubt. Nothing like watching to guys with 65 IQ's beat the tar out of each other. What next, cockfighting?Ursus A. Horribilis wrote:Both of those are a bit rough for your sort hen. That's why they invented Golf.89Hen wrote:MMA and Texas Hold-em.![]()

I hear ya precious. I got some holes in a couple of pairs of socks so could you get on that while the rest of the boys are talking? Thanks.89Hen wrote:MMA is rough, no doubt. Didn't know you wore socks.Ursus A. Horribilis wrote:I hear ya precious. I got some holes in a couple of pairs of socks so could you get on that while the rest of the boys are talking? Thanks.

Regardless of their perceived lack of intelligence, I'm sure most of them could figure out what's wrong with this sentence, given enough time.89Hen wrote:MMA is rough, no doubt. I was laughing at the irony of that for several minutes as well.Grizalltheway wrote:Regardless of their perceived lack of intelligence, I'm sure most of them could figure out what's wrong with this sentence, given enough time.89Hen wrote: MMA is rough, no doubt. Carwin is a total bad ass and we will see those two go at it more than once. They are both wrecking machines.
There are a lot of ties to FCS schools in UFC. Josh Barnett former UFC Heavyweight Champ )UM), the ones previously mentioned and also Chuck Lidell from Cal Poly.

UFC 2 was in 94', not 89'Ursus A. Horribilis wrote:You're a **** fool and you don't know ****.SuperHornet wrote:Nothing more than a pro wrestling reject who thought he was NFL material. The sport has evolved well beyond what it was when they were in their prime. I watched Gracie from UFC 2 back in about 1989 on through present day. Their are very few that could compete from the early years with those that are there today.
I love the guys from the early years but if you think for one second that you can throw out a couple of legendary names and hinge an argument on it then you are a quintessential dumb **** in this aspect as well as the litany of others you have proven yourself in.
Shamrock fought at about 200-205, Gracie at about 175-180 and you are trying to say that they would get in the ring and stand up to these giants? Lesnar is 265 lbs. ripped. He can counter and defend the submissions and **** crush skulls while doing it. Carwin is the same story. These are not the one dimensional fighters that Shamrock & Gracie were fighting 20 yrs. ago.
Let me say this one more time so you understand it rube.

Didn't go check the exact date of it's start as it wasn't that important to the point but I do remember it was in Denver Colorado. That whole area of time kinda melted together for me.BDKJMU wrote:UFC 2 was in 94', not 89'Ursus A. Horribilis wrote: You're a **** fool and you don't know ****.
