There are also rumors that the Knicks might be able to get Tony Parker this year and Carmelo next year. That might make them decent, but not championship caliber.

He wasn't the best player on the Suns, and without Nash he probably won't be the best player on the Knicks. He chased the money, pure and simple. I am not a fan of athletes who value an extra million or two over a chance at a championship.
