Earlier this year somebody mentioned have a free agent summit. David Stern was not happy about that and the free agent summit was supposedly dropped.

Obviously it wasn't. The players involved just did it quietly. LeBron is a liar, there is no way he made his decision Thursday morning, he made it weeks ago.

How about "The most hyped teeam that doesn't have enough players to field a starting five and hasn't yet won a single game in the history of sports?"

All the media who are drinking the koolaid and predicting multiple titles apparently haven't bothered to consult with LA, Boston, or Orlando. Those teams ain't gonna roll over at all for the overhyped bunch.

BTW Pat, who's gonna match up with Dwight Howard? Joel Anthony? Shaq at 39 YO? Brad Miller?

How are you gonna' defend the 1-5 pick and roll that Orlando is gonna run about 30 times a game against your two weakest positions? Who's gonna defend the interior and rebound? What happens after about 12 minutes and the Magic sub Gortat, Bass, Redick, Pietrus and Duhon? How are you gonna play that? Play your starters 48 minutes? Just curious.........

Reports out of RDV state the Magic "anticipate" matching the Bulls offer sheet...

...meanwhile, it was reported today that the Magic have agreed to a 4 year deal with Quentin Richardson for what amounts to the remainder of the mid-level exception that they didn't use signing Duhon plus the bi-annual exception. This leaves either JJ Redick or Matt Barnes as the odd man out. Also, with Richardson leaving Miami, that means Miami will have to spend more $$$ (losing Bird rights) under their cap to replace Richardson.
