Manchester United midfielder Anderson has been pulled unconscious from the wreckage of a burning car moments before it exploded, according to reports.
Anderson is said to have spent several hours in the hospital after the crash on a rural road in Braga, Portugal.
Witnesses said the Premier League star owed his life to being pulled "lifeless" from the vehicle shortly before it went up in flames.
The Guardian, quoting local reports, said the 22-year-old had spent the night at the Sardinha Biba nightclub before leaving in an Audi R8.
The crash is believed to have happened at 7 a.m. when the car came off the road and hit the wall of a farm before flying into a field.

someone really needs to learn how to drive.
and considering how soccer players writhe around in agony whenever someone gives them the slightest bump on the pitch, I can't imagine how they handle crashing into a wall at high speed.

I didn't want to imply anything about the reasoning for his impairment in driving ability, since that seems to offend so many around here.

How do you know he was driving? The article said that there were three people in the car and it was uncertain who was driving.

If they was at a night club until 7 in the morning, I'm guessing all three of them were probably drinking. And, considering the car has a base price of $115K, it was probably his.

"I'm guessing" being the key words in your statement.

Well, being a 22-year old myself

, I know I don't usually stay up/out that late unless I'm drinking. And if I do, I'm responsible enough not to get behind the wheel.

Good for you. But you don't
know if this guy was drunk or behind the wheel. I think you are making a good guess, but I'd rather have facts before I start criticizing someone.

I know when I was 22 me and my friends took turns being the designated driver when we went out and sometimes it was me driving a friends car home

Alright, I'll withhold final judgement until all the facts are known, but I still maintain that he's an asshole, given that he plays for Manure.

The vehicle had just two seats but Anderson had two companions - a friend, named Victor, and a young Brazilian woman.
Having sex while driving is as dangerous as texting while driving (if not more so).

So is sleeping while driving, or driving with your eyes closed.

Thanks. Following They is so difficult sometimes I wish there was a playbook or a SuperHornet For Dummies out there one could purchase to understand They.
