I was rooting so hard for Sonnen. When he rocked Silva early I jumped. He almost had him. The rematch is going to do a huge buyrate.

Fat Bastard Big Country took a beating but went the distance.

I loved Hughes submitting a Ju-Jitsu guy with a front face lock. Just rocked him, squeezed his neck and made him go to sleep.

With the exception of Fitch winning by being Fitch, it was a good night. The tall lanky kid getting killed and then winning was good stuff as well.

Dana specifically made that match because he was sick of Silva being a loafing mother fucker. He wanted to get someone in there with some skill that would light a fire under that lax SOB. I love Silva but after his last few fights Dana needed something from him or he was cutting him loose.

I'm thinking Dana let Silva off too easy. After the Damian Maia fight, he said that that's the most disappointed he's ever been in one of his fighter performances...totally unacceptable. White handed the belt to Silva's trainer, and told him "you put it on him".

What I think is gonna' happen, instead of an instant rematch, is that Sonnen will fight Vitor Belfort, and the winner will get a Title shot.

How about Sonnen's quote..."When Silva comes into a room, it's like a rat pissin' on cotton"?!!?
