The NFL Network and Fox Sports reported that Favre boarded a plane headed north on Tuesday afternoon. Three teammates, Jared Allen, Steve Hutchinson and Ryan Longwell, were absent from practice earlier in the day and went to Mississippi to recruit Favre.
When will Brett Favre decide?

Fox Sports reported that Favre told his teammates that he is back in for another season. NFL Network also reported Favre would rejoin the Vikings.
Also, Favre's official website sent out an e-mail today saying, "Stay tuned for breaking news from the Minnesota Vikings today on Brett Favre's possible return." (via PFT)
The Vikings have not confirmed the news. Favre's agent, Bus Cook, has not returned messages from USA TODAY.
Favre's trip north comes exactly one year after news broke that he would emerge from retirement for the second year in a row and would sign with the Vikings.
His first season in Minnesota ended with a loss in the NFC title game in New Orleans. Favre, 40, then had surgery on his left ankle in May. He has said since then he couldn't commit to another year until he was satisfied his body could endure it.

I'm not sure if you are joking or not...but I trust FSR a whole lot more than ESPNDJH wrote:I'll wait until ESPN confirms...

I used to love the guy, but this drama queen BS has completely turned me against him. I don't wish anything bad on him, but it seems he's going to need more than simply blowing another key game to keep him from coming out of retirement.
Who am I kidding? I'll probably end up drafting him next week in my FFL league in spite of him being such an attention whore.

The only thing ESPN confirms is bullshit. They made up the entire retirement stuff a few weeks ago.DJH wrote:I'll wait until ESPN confirms...

Two thoughts:
#1 - I can't say I'm surprised, if anything, I thought he'd wait another week-10 days.
#2- I'm so sick of this, every time I read articles about Favre coming back I get that taste of throwing up in my own mouth.

Favre hasn't really done or said shit other than he doesn't know if he will play this coming season. All of that shit ESPN throws out they make up.

Well I am shocked
I used to like Favre when he was on the Packers but after that whole fiasco, I can't stand him. Not to mention it has made me hate ESPN that much more.

Now confirmed by NFL Network
Re: Favre to return to Vikings
ESPN has yet to report on this...at least on line. All they have is a little blurb saying he is reportedly on a plane.

Especially after they royally 'effed up the Favre 'retirement' story last week.

I'm glad that after all of the crap ESPN has put everyone through, its some other outlet that acutally reports the real story.
My favorite part about their fuck up last week was after they realized they were wrong, they all blamed Favre for not correcting them. LMAO
