I went with Player "C" right now. Close call, but he has the most wins and has eaten the most innings (and it shows ;) ).

The numbers for the top candidates are too close, though, to call anyone a favorite right now.

I went with B.

10 walks? SERIOUSLY? Whip under 1.00? Yeah only 10 wins, but that's not the be-all end-all measuring stick.

His team has won 12 of his last 13 starts too.

I hope not. That will just drive the price up for Player "B" when he signs with the Yankees this winter. ;)

I find it amazing that people here want to reward someone because he has more wins and innings. Sure innings are a good thing to eat up... but the guy has the worst numbers when it comes to ERA, WHIP, BAA of every guy on the list.

I chose B. You can't let yourself get to wrapped up in win totals. Pitchers don't have a lot of control of getting wins and losses. You need to look an their ERA, WHIP, and BB.

Right now I gotta go with "C". Good overall numbers, excellent WL and lots of innings pitched.

10-6 is now 10-8 and done nothing for his new team in the pennant race, even though he probably doesn't have to do anything as it stands today.
