Batch to Start for Steeltown

The injury woes of Byron Leftwich and Dennis Dixon and the continuing suspension of Ben Roethlisberger have forced the Steelers to turn to little-used fourth-string QB Charlie Batch, who hasn't started a game in several years. The thinking is that Leftwich still isn't ready and Batch perhaps knows the Steelers system better than anybody, having bee on the team since 2002.
I understand that Batch is something of a feel-good story (his youth sports foundation is copied by many cities). But as far as actually playing the game goes, I wonder if the Steelers have forgotten what Leftwich did at Marshall. He won a game when he couldn't even walk. (The line would carry him to the next LOS.) Batch hasn't done much winning standing up.
Of course, this is a decision that they may be more prepared to make in the playoffs. But I really think a 65% Leftwich is better than a 100% Batch.
