Both clinch playoff spots tonight and finally eliminate Boston. The two will still battle for the AL East crown.

I'm hoping the Yanks pull it out, but we have had our way with Minnesota so I don't really care. Unless someone shoots that fucking douche Burnett in the parking lot, we'll lose every game he plays in.

This isn't the same Minnesota team anymore. If you have to play the Twins with them having home field I would take the Twins.

i dont think any one team this year doesnt have a chance to win it all. Everyone has their flaws. Should be an exciting post season

Playoffs tickets go on sale tomorrow morning but I'm not exactly sure how the Yankees are going to do it not knowing when the games are going to be?

I guess you just take your chances and guess on whether they'll be the first or third game of the ALDS at home? If you guess wrong you'll get your money back less the $10 ticketmaster fee of course. What a freaking racket Ticketmaster has going.

Teams always sell early they will sell 3 games of tickets. They will be labeled as games Home Game 1, Home Game 2 and Home Game 3. Obviously the game 3 will be dependent on whether they get home field in the ALDS.

Heres an example of a 2009 Yankee ALCS ticket. No date listed and just marked as Home Game 3. Depending on how home field worked out it would have either been for game 5 or game 6 of the ALCS

I got hit with the fee on my ALCS tickets from last year. But I'm not at all suprised that the Yankees kept the fee and the red sox gave it back.
