Red Sox Honor Mike Lowell

The Red Sox held a pre game ceremony today to honor the retiring Mike Lowell. During the ceremony Josh Beckett presented Lowell with the third base bag and Lowell caught the first pitch thrown by his dad Carl.

Lowell won World Series rings with New York, Florida and Boston during his career.

Sox already with 4 hits of Pettite, they hammered him in New York last week and he looks like another P they cant rely on in October... Maybe CC can pitch games 1, 3 and 5 of the ALDS. :lol: :lol: :lol:

Lowell just missed a HR in his final at bat of his career. He gets a single high off the monster and is lifted for a pinch runner. He finishes Mike Lowell Day 2-2 with a BB and 2 RBI
