Well maybe see the Giants anyway.89Hen wrote:Not really.Gil Dobie wrote:Would be nice to see different teams like the Giants and Rangers.
The Phillies are the next Atlanta Braves of the 90's and 00's.GannonFan wrote:Either Philly option leads to great subplots - the Yanks and the Phils in a rematch of last year or the Phils playing Cliff Lee and having Hallday face Lee everytime they start. As long as it's Philly it's all good!

Shoot, the Phillies have already lost 3 WS in my lifetime.JoltinJoe wrote:The Phillies are the next Atlanta Braves of the 90's and 00's.
Just be glad you missed 1964.89Hen wrote:Shoot, the Phillies have already lost 3 WS in my lifetime.JoltinJoe wrote:The Phillies are the next Atlanta Braves of the 90's and 00's.
Phillies 2 WS - 3 losses
Flyers 2 SC - 6 losses![]()
76ers 1 NBA - 5 losses
Eagles 0 SB - 2 losses
That's 5 trophies and 16 championship losses. Maybe other fans now understand why it's been so hard being a Philly fan.
FOX would have a nutty of neither Philly or NY were in it.Gil Dobie wrote:Would be nice to see different teams like the Giants and Rangers.
Maybe so, but I'll never consider a team with $60M higher payroll to be an underdog. They are the evil empire after all.Gil Dobie wrote:On the sports talk shows today, they were discussing that if the Yankees win the ALCS, and Philly wins the NLCS, that the Yankees would be considered the underdogs.
