I'd be happy to see either team win it. I just hope for a good long series.

I have absolutely no connection to either team. Couldn't really care less. However, since my son's name is Nolan, I am going to pull for the Rangers.

Best possible outcome for the two teams - no stinking East Coast Teams!

Go Giants!

Although not upset if Rangers win, either.

Why do you hate your countries' birthplace so much?

And at least there is only one West Coast team. :thumb:

Especially considering he's from Jawjuh.

Lee won't go 2-1 because they won't pitch him three times. I'd put money on that.

Good pitching beats good hitting. Giants in 6.... as long as the Rangers didn't learn one thing from the Phillies. Take pitches against Sanchez, it pisses him off. Just look at his two starts in the NLCS.

But I thought you were all about equality for all? So why are you hating on the East Coast?

If they're down 2-1 or 3-0 he pitches game 4, bank it... and if theres a game 7 he pitches it, bank it. If they are up 2-1 or 3-0 he dont go game 4.

Your girls are getting too old and it's all getting a little too creepy over there, so I'm staying away from your house until they are all 18 (you're welcome, btw). They have my number, right? They'll text me (or my son) when they get there. :thumb:

Huh? You have a Twins sig and avatar. You consider yourself a winner because your team lost?

Of course it's the best possible outcome for the two teams, any other outcome would mean they aren't facing each other in the World Series.

Check the Bengie Molina thread.

I love this WS match up. For a baseball fan this series will be awesome, no matter that outcome. For those of us who no longer have a team left, it's a win anytime there is a great match up.

According to Minneapolis Strib reporter Sid Hartman's Book, the Giants were very close to moving to Minnesota instead of San Francisco. Hartman said it was a done deal until a representative from Minnesota, with a drinking problem, went to New York to complete the deal. Horace Stoneham was majority and supported the move, as the Giant farm team, the Minneapolis Millers was located there already. Anyway the person sent from Minnesota had too much to drink and blew the negotiations, so Stoneham began talking with San Francisco and the rest is history.

Really. Let me know how the TV ratings turn out. I'm sure Fox doesn't feel like a winner right now.

And if you think San Fran - Texas is a better match up than Phila - NYY you are a dunce. :dunce:

Gotta admit, that shot of the ball park next to the marina was awesome. Wood like to have been there.
