I hate Thursday night football, it makes fantasy football much more difficult to manage since you don't have the weekend to see how all of your players are recovering from injuries, etc.

Edit: Also, as a Mariners fan, baseball technically ended back in April.

Based on the World Series TV ratings, I think the NFL shouldn't wait for baseball to end before starting Thursday Night Football.

Thought there was supposed to be an NFL game this week? NFL Network advertised it all week until today.

I don't think so. Tonight would have been game 7 of the World Series, so I don't think the NFL would schedule a game. Although they should, they would win the ratings battle.

I recall them hyping it up last week as well. But their first thursday night game isn't until 11/11.
