Tom Brady is the winningest active QB with a .767 winning percentage.

The Patriots are 4-1 all time at Heinz Field including 2-0 in the playoffs.

Do you watch the NFL?

1st there is a salary cap(that is much lower than baseball) so NFL teams can't really stockpile talent through free agency. The Steelers and Patriots very rarely go after big name free agents. The Pats so it more often than the Steelers, but still not all that often. Both teams tend to find under valued players through the draft and free agency.

Theres a big difference between the NFL and MLB.. First off the NFL has a salary cap and a salary basement placing all teams on an equal financial level.

Second, its worth pointing out that in very few circumstances has the Patriots actually signed a high priced free agent, the course the Patriots generally follow is to sign mid priced to low cost role players and have willingly allowed high cost veterans that drafted to either leave or trade them for draft picks instead of paying them the high price they would demand in free agency.

No doubt about it. Look at the undrafted free agents they have turned into productive players, on damn little salary.
