9-8.... Bwhahahahahahaha

I just want to post some things said in the days after LeBron signed with Miami... you can all enjoy the look back as you enjoy the Miami Heats 9-8 record.
To be fair on this one, the writer picks Miami over Orlando in the East finals but says if he wasnt concerned with the Celtics age he would pick the C's over Miami... he goes on to pick LAL over Heat in finals.
All spurned fans of the Chicago Bulls, New Jersey Nets, New York Knicks, and Cleveland Cavaliers are looking for redemption. Add Toronto Raptors fans and the fans of all the teams that are about to be obliterated next season, and/or the ones that were upset by LeBron’s recent shenanigans.
All these people will be looking for a team, any team, to deliver a knockout blow to this juggernaut, and the most likely team to do this resides in Los Angeles.
No, not the Clippers, but the current NBA Champion L.A. Lakers and their dynamic star, Kobe Bryant.
Even though the Miami Heat are currently incomplete, you don’t have to be Albert Einstein to figure out that these three healthy stars plus nine marginal players will more than likely reach the NBA Finals.
Because the top teams in the Eastern Conference may not have what it takes to beat the new Heat!
The Boston Celtics are personally battling a vindictive foe, age, while the Orlando Magic have issues in the clutch. Meanwhile, the Atlanta Hawks just paid Harry Houdini (Joe Johnson) $123.7 million to pull his escape act in the playoffs, and the Cavaliers just lost their mojo.

We are the kingdom now.
Miami is the capital of basketball.
South Florida is the epicenter of American sports.
It became so by royal decree at 9:27 p.m. Eastern time, July 8, 2010.

Playoff teams: East
1. Heat: Barring injury, LeBron and Wade will wreak devastation wherever they go.
2. Magic: When Dwight Howard says he's on a mission to be meaner, I believe him.
3. Celtics: Age, injuries and the Heat will keep the Celtics from having a regular-season record that lives up to their talent.
4. Bulls: They finally have a low-post option in Carlos Boozer and will be noticeably better defensively under first-year coach Tom Thibodeau.
5. Bucks: Brandon Jennings and Scott Skiles will keep the deer appropriately feared.
6. Hawks: All their rivals got noticeably better, but the Hawks stood still.
7. Bobcats: There's enough talent and athleticism on this roster to get in, and Larry Brown will figure out a way -- even if it means trading half the roster.
8. Knicks: Mike D'Antoni finally has some athletes to run his offense, but it won't be easy. The Knicks will battle to the end with the 76ers, Wizards and Pacers.
