When Qatar won, my first thought was that they bribed someone. I'm sure many others thought the same thing, so this clown buying a villa at this time is really stupid, even if he wasn't bribed.

The only place that thing exists is on Twitter - a hundred twenty five million?. OTOH, the WSJ is reporting Qatar may have paid off the Argentina Football Association's $78 m debt, which the Argies flatly are denying. The NY Post and Daily Mail say two ExCo members were bought for just $1.5 m each - and not the two kicked off a couple months ago for extortion. The English have said due to the corruption they won't bid again
