Three weeks ago as Brady and Manning took to the field to face each other they had near identical TD/INT stats... in the three games including that day Brady has thrown 10 TDs to 0 INTs while Manning has thrown 8 TDs and 10 INT.eagleskins wrote:Brady is the best QB that ever played the game. I agree, but Brady doesn't whore himself out like Manning (not that I blame him). People just don't give Brady credit because they don't see him as much. I really can't stand the Mannings.UNHWildCats wrote:Three weeks ago as Brady and Manning took to the field to face each other they had near identical TD/INT stats... in the three games including that day Brady has thrown 10 TDs to 0 INTs while Manning has thrown 8 TDs and 10 INT.eagleskins wrote:Brady is the best QB that ever played the game. I could argue that Manning is a better QB.UNHWildCats wrote:Three weeks ago as Brady and Manning took to the field to face each other they had near identical TD/INT stats... in the three games including that day Brady has thrown 10 TDs to 0 INTs while Manning has thrown 8 TDs and 10 INT.eagleskins wrote:Brady is the best QB that ever played the game. Hogwash. It's way too early to say that. Brady's probably not even in the Top Ten, much less the Top Five. One would have to consider Waterfield, van Brocklin, Starr, Unitas, Staubach, Montana, and Smell-Way before you even get close to Brady.eagleskins wrote:Brady is the best QB that ever played the game. The only argument one can make is simply by raw passing stats which doesnt account for Manning playing 60+ more games at this point than Brady.DJH wrote:I could argue that Manning is a better QB.UNHWildCats wrote: Three weeks ago as Brady and Manning took to the field to face each other they had near identical TD/INT stats... in the three games including that day Brady has thrown 10 TDs to 0 INTs while Manning has thrown 8 TDs and 10 INT.

Brady is the greatest QB of his generation... By the time he is done, he very well could be knocking on the door of each and every player you named....SuperHornet wrote:Hogwash. I don't see how anyone could say someone like Bart Starr is better than Brady. QBs today are matched against tough teams every single week thanks to unparalleled parity in the league, facing much faster, stronger, smarter and tougher defenses. And yet the superstars are still putting up numbers that are exponentially better than old-timey legends like Starr. Plus with how big the NFL has gotten every team has millions of dollars spent on finding the best players from thousands of schools across the nation, trying to find one of the rare few guys that can crack it in the NFL. So you're competing with x20 (at least) as many guys for the opportunity. If the NFL in the '50s-'60s had had any of that going for it, Starr probably would of been just another dude at the time, hell, might not have ever been on a roster.SuperHornet wrote:Hogwash.
