I think a friend from grade school is screwing with me...

Dude's telling me on FB that Tony Romo has been traded to the Raiders for 3 players and a #1.
This makes absolutely no sense as Romo is on IR. In addition, I'm not seeing anything about this on ESPN (where he said he saw it) or on the Cowboys' or Raiders' sites.
So, is he screwing with me?

Supposedly, the Cowboys get Campbell among the three coming over. That REALLY makes no sense to me given the season he's had.
My friend thinks the Cowboys will use the pick for Stanford's Luck. I'd rather go after Kellen Moore....

Can't. Trade deadline has passed... would have to wait til the seasons over.

BTW The Patriots own Oaklands 1st round pick for 2011... and if your friend thinks Luck was even going to be around at the 15th pick or so hes a moron.

Thanks. It makes no sense anyway. From the Raiders' perspective, it's too much for an injured QB. From the Cowboys' perspective, while the chance to take one of the guys who SHOULD have won the Heisman is intriguing, the prospect of taking on Campbell after his performance (or lack thereof) this season is enough to give one pause, unless they have follow-on deal in the works.

BTW again
The Patriots own (As of current standings) the 15th (Richard Seymour), 32nd and 33rd (For pick Carolina used to draft Armanti Edwards) picks in the draft

Has Luck even announced or given any indication he's leaving Stanford early?

Wouldn't make much sense to abandon an architecture degree (especially from Stanford) a year early.
