It's Brady and it isn't even close. Rivers second.

You must not be watching the NFL this season. Vick is miles above Rivers THIS season. This isn't a HOF list.

The current trend with sports writers is predicting a tie.

When is the voting on MVP? Before or after the Superbowl? The Brady-Vick tie would likely be broken by playoff success if it's after. Both guys are leading teams that would likely be very mediocre without them, so both are extremely valuable to their team.

The winner is announced the week between the regular season finale and the first playoff game.

Agreed. Edge to Brady, but Vick is still in the discussion.

Then Brady wins this year. Vick missed four and a half games early in the year, so it's taken some time to catch up.

Nope. Rivers has been much more impressive. Rivers has had no weapons all year. Gates and Jackson have missed basically the entire year. Vick has the best set of skill players in the NFL bar none.

Rivers is having a good season... but I have a feeling that a team that is on the outside looking in and could potentially miss the playoffs, won't be the team that has this years NFL MVP.

If the Chargers don't make the playoffs Rivers has no shot.

Most of the national media discussion has centered on Brady and Vick. While Rivers may get some attention, it doesn't seem like he has enough right now to have a chance at winning.

Barring a suprise, the winner will be either Brady or Vick.

I agree. It's a one man race. Brady will be unanimous MVP. The guy is playing the QB position right now as well as it has ever been played. Can you imagine his numbers with the Eagles skill players? Wow.

What exactly are you agreeing with? I never said it was a one man race.

As a Packer fan, having seen both play, Vick is the scariest player to defend while Brady works his coaches game plan to perfection.

While most already thought Brady was the MVP, today is the day it became official, through three quarters Vick has turned the ball over three times.

Fun little bonus fact. At this moment, Vick has as many turnovers this season (6 INT, 3 FUM) as the Patriots do as a team.

Vick sucks. NFL has figured him out. He's never been a good QB outside of half of this season.

And the season that he led the Falcons to the NFC championship game.

But hey, great commentary! At least you aren't letting your personal dislike of the guy cloud your judgment.

Last night was a team loss. The Eagles didn't show up at all. Completely pathetic in all phases. No quarterback would have succeeded behind that o-line last night. They should have just let Jared Allen line up behind Jason Peters to save the annoyance of the occasional jersey abrasion.

In retrospect, the Eagles should have rested the starters for two weeks if they weren't going to show up anyway.

The Eagles will not get out of the divisional round. They'll be lucky to win a wild card game against the Packers or Giants. The injuries have mounted up heavily on the defensive side (Bradley, Allen, Graham, etc all gone in the last three weeks) and they can't count on five Vick touchdowns every game.

Oh well, it was a nice run. Go Hens.
