ESPN Radio was drawing a comparison between the release of Young and the release of Vick. Both were happy-go-lucky QBs who didn't care about anything other than padding their rush totals. (At least, that's the view many people have of them.) Getting cut jerked something straight in Vick's head. (Yes, other events had a bit to do with that, too.) The question is, will Young sit down and assess his attitude? That is, does he like football, or does he like what football gives him? The coach/GM of the next team to even talk to him will want a LONG convo with him about that, and if he doesn't give them what they want to hear, he's going to be on the outside looking in.
Right now, debate on whether he deserved a second chance or not aside, Vick is the poster boy for how to respond to getting a second chance. Will Young follow suit?

.....Vick wasn't released and then something went straight in his head. Vick got cut because he was in prison and not getting out and Atlanta didn't want that ball and chain around their leg. I would say sitting in prison for two years while everything he owned was repossessed to pay fees, fines, bills, etc was probably what set his head straight. VY and Vick are two WAY different cases. VY is just a pussy who's not good enough for the NFL.

Scouts, execs, everyone in NFL has perception of 'Horns as coddled, spoiled and entitled. And Vince Young is the posterboy for that idea.

I hear that the Jets won....and by won, I mean beat the hell out of the PATS...... I guess being a bunch of little kids playing Patty-Cake wouldn't be all that tough...
Especially if none of them ever had a job and lived off of welfare and voted for Hillary and Obama......

Put the Vikings on the Vince Young watch-list. Vikings hired Vince Young's QB Coach from Tennessee, and recommended Young to Leslie Frazier, the Vikings coach.

Does that mean McNabb is heading to Arizona?

I think when Childress got chit canned, so did any thought of McNabb going to Minnesota.
