Anybody else here a fan?
I've been playing it for about 3 years, pretty much every time I go to a casino...and here in Yuma there are 3 casinos and there ain't much else to do.
At the Casino just across the border into California they have 3-Card Poker tables....and they have a "juice" bet where you get paid $75/$1 for trips, $400/$1 for a straight-flush, $1,000/$1 for a royal (A/K/Q non-spade) flush, and $4,000/$1 for royal flush in spades.
TONIGHT I HIT A ROYAL FLUSH IN SPADES!!! and I played it blind
The odds of hitting a royal flush are .00212%. The odds of hitting a royal flush in spades are .000425% (or something close to that).
Total payout tonight for a $31 bet....$4,460.00.

Damn, congrats! My buddy was playing it on his birthday a year or two ago, and was betting $5 on the pair or better (juice), and ended up hitting trip 7s, but they weren't giving that big of payouts. It was only 30-1 I think for trips. Before the hand, our other buddy jokingly told him to stop being a pussy and put $25 out there, so he did. Won $750 from it.
I don't get your math though... if your bet was $31 and the royal pays 4000-1, then shouldn't you have won $124,000? Or is that pesos?

No....juice bet is SEPARATE from the "Pair or Better" bet, and only $1 is allowed. So I was betting $10 on the "Play" (and it pays 1/1 on a Royal flush), $10 on the "Ante" (it pays 5/1), $10 on the "Pair or Better" (it pays $40/1) and $1 on the "Juice" (it paid $4000/$1).

Sounds like something akin to 3-Card Monte.

Gotcha.

I'm sure Obama's reelection campaign will more than appreciate the 4k.

I would, but I'm not big on lost causes.

Congrats on the win!
Now, the next time you're in Missoula, maybe you can buy me some more beer!
I'll drink 'em this time!

I'll buy 'em, but I'm pretty sure you won't drink 'em.
