NBA game of the year

I might actually tune in to watch this game!

Washington Bullets @ Cleveland Cavaliers, Sunday 02/13

The Bullets are 0-25 on the road (short of the NBA record by a few games...I don't really give a shit what the record really is). While the Cavs are on a 26 game losing streak, which is an NBA record, and counting.

Cleveland actually has a chance to snap their losing streak tonight against the LA Raiders, or maybe it's the Rams, if anyone cares. If they do win tonight, then my streak of not watching a single NBA game in 3+ seasons will stay alive. :thumb:

I know, isn't it great? Fail, meet Fail. One of you will fail, thus continuing to fail.

It's the WIZARDS bandle. It's almost like you realize that, but are too stubborn to recognize the name change.

Do they have a player by the name of Merlyn (serious question)? If not then shut it, you're just making shit up.

Why acknowledge it? They're going to change it again next year.

I'm actually not sure what outcome each fanbase should root for. I mean if you have to rely on beating Cleveland for your first road win, it's almost more embarrassing than not winning on the road all season.

Most likely... the Bullets.

I think for the Bullets just getting a win on the road to end the streak before they break the NBA record is good enough. It's not like the Bullets are a good team to begin with, take the win and walk away from the record book.

I know...I was kidding. I'm not a hermit. I think Leonsis might actually turn this franchise into something worth watching some day. Maybe.

Basketball has to be the easiest to turnaround, doesn't it? Two big acquisitions should be all it takes... at least to make you a playoff team.

24-58

add Kevin Garnett and Ray Allen

66-16 NBA Champions

So yes, quick turnarounds are just two big acquisitions away... assuming you have or can get a few role players off the bench and have a big star and a few young guys about to become stars already in place.

Just having two great players and then a bunch of nothing, may get you some impressive regular seasons... but nothing but heartache in the playoffs, just ask Cleveland.

But that's better than what Washington has had since 1979. Wizz have made the playoffs 5 of the last 22 seasons, last three were first round exits in losses to... Cleveland. :ohno:

BTW, I should say, I hate the NBA and am happy the Whizz are losers... gets more people on the Caps bandwagon.

I remember wearing my Bullets hat to a bar at Towson once. Guy across from us was wearing a Clippers hat. His friend pointed out my hat and tells him, "That guy beats you" and made him take it off.

96/97 we FINALLY make the playoff in like 10 years, and who do we get? The GD'ed Bulls who only lost 10 games. They changed the name the next season. :ohno:
