Travis' new thread.

Hoping Tex will have a good April this year instead of his usual dogshit April. He started 0-16 last year, but went 1-3 with a HR today. Granderson his a HR on opening day for the 3rd straight season.

Soriano in the 8th looks like he's going be a beast...

this feels like it could be the second coming of when Mo set up Wetteland in 96.

it is so fitting that an inherently evil entity would bear the name of an inherently evil people.

Yeah I'm feeling pretty confident in our bullpen this year. Now the starters, that's a question. Aside from Sabathia...it's a long shot. If Burnett pitches to his potential, he'll be alright.

Burnett pitched fairly decently yesterday, although it was against the Twins so that's not saying much right now. Minnesota has made every starter that they play look good.

for the Twins to have gotten out of the opening road trip 2-4 is a damn miracle. the two cities that have been nothing but misery for the Twins for the better part of a decade are now in the rearview... and now - we open at TF it's sunny and in the mid 60's here... 8-)
