2011 San Diego Padres Thread

Since the Padres just ass pounded the Cards with no lube, I figured it would be in my best interests to start a Padres thread. A 11-3 beat down of the Cards with Clayton Richard cruising to a win is nice 2nd game of the season. I hope they can keep this up.

After having mercy in the final matchup with the Cards and gifting them a win, the Padres came home and whomped (that one is for you SH) the defending champs 3-1 in front of a sell out crowd at the Padres' home opener. The retired Trevor Hoffman threw out the first pitch in what was likely a hair raising moment.

I'm shocked they didn't have Mr. Hells Bells throw out the LAST pitch.
And, yes, I'm SO happy they beat Mr. Wait for the Jack.

Lincecum (sp?) dominated today. 8-4 loss to the Giants.

Looks like the Padres have gone back to their old ways. 1-3 not including tonight.
