SAN ANTONIO (AP)—Kevin Na will remember the ninth hole at the Texas Open for a long time.
The South Korean set a new low Thursday for the worst par-4 hole in the PGA Tour record books, shooting a 16 with a nightmarish sequence of shots.
Na’s problems included an unplayable lie from the tee, a two-stroke penalty after the ball ricocheted off a tree and struck him, and five consecutive strokes from the woods.

A duodecuple bogey?!?
Well, I shouldn't laugh. The first time I played golf, I was monsooned out after three holes in Okinawa, and that was a good thing because I was already +13.

According to the article, Daly shot a tridecuple bogey 18 on a par 5. Na blew a par 4.

Gotcha. Thanks for reading better than I.

Some other crazy bad performances.
A guy on the Japan Tour once turned in a 19 on a par-3. (Amazingly, his 84 total wasn't the worst of the day.) Someone on the European Tour carded a 20. (I don't think the article mentioned par for that one.)
But the one that takes the cake has got to be Tommy Armour's 23 on a par-5 at the 1927 Shawnee Open.

Worst one I've seen in person was at the Kemper Open in the mid 90's. Glen Day was a struggling pro at the time and coming into his final hole in the second round was in position to make the weekend in a good spot to actually contend. He started on the back and finished on #9, a 150 yard par 3... he made a 10 and missed the cut.

I thought you were allowed to pick the ball up after eight.

I've pulled this off several times

...usually somewhere between hole 12 & 15 when I'm shit faced falling over drunk.

You are an alcoholic. You have a disease man. Get some help. If you cannot have a beer or two without getting falling down drunk, you need some help. I can probably get you into Appaholic's 12 step program. I think it is currently full, but I know the instructor so we can get you admitted ASAP.
Best of luck.

Thanks man. I've been to an AA meeting before, but they only served Miller Lite there so I gave up on that venture.
