was it necessary to go there? lol

This would be more shocking though as its a 1 vs 8 whereas Boston was #6 vs #7.

The Canucks are one of the more underachieving teams in the history of the NHL. They sort of rival the Washington Capitals in the land of hopes and dreams category. :coffee:

Chicago lost a lot of players from their championship team last year. This is definitely not the same team.

Really amazing what they have done in this series coming back. IMO, it will be tough for the Canucks to win the game 7 because of all the pressure they will be feeling, with being the #1 seed, being up 3-0, and losing to Chi the last 3 years. Should be interesting.

All kidding aside, coming back from 3-0 down to win a series is an impressive feat.

That being said, I want to see the Blackhawks spot the Canucks a 3-0 lead in game seven like the Flyers did the Bruins in game seven and come back to win 4-3. :kisswink:

That game and series were just the ultimate kick to the nuts for Bruins fans.

Toews goal tied it at 1 but Vancouver weathered a Chicago PP in OT, and a bad give a way by Chris Campoli led to Alex Burrows 2nd goal of the game and Vancouver lives to fight another day winning 2-1 in OT. Corey Crawford was spectacualar in net for Chicago and Roberto Luongo made a series saving save on Patrick Sharp in OT. Congrats to Vancouver, and kudos to Chicago for making it a series and fighting all the way back..Vancouver will play Nashville in one Western semi while San Jose will host Detroit

i'm hoping a canadian team can with the cup (so go canucks and canadiens) - it's been almost 20 years with the cup out of the country it belongs in...
