The Sacramento Sirens lost a hard-fought final regular season game at PDX tonight. The Shockwave scored nine in the second half, and that was enough to win 9-0. I'm not sure how those points were scored, but that's what's posted.

The Western Conference Tier I playoff pairings are now confirmed:

PacNW Champ PDX Shockwave (6-2) @ Midwest Champ Wisconsin Warriors (Racine) (8-0)
PacW Champ Sacramento Sirens (5-3) @ PacSW Champ California Quake (8-0)

The Western Conference Tier II playoff pairings are personal speculation based on the regionalization of Tier I featuring divisional second-place teams and may be subject to change:

PacSW Tucson Monsoon (3-5) @ PacW Modesto Maniax (4-4)
Pac NW Seattle Majestics (4-4) @ Midwest Madison (WI) Cougars (5-3)

The Eastern Conference is a jumbled heap right now. I have no idea how regionalization is going to work out, though I suspect the leauge will pit the Mid-South Division against the South Atlantic Division and the Mid-Atlantic Division against the North Atlantic Division. Another complicating factor is that no less than THREE Eastern Conference playoff teams finish their schedule next week in games that could shift teams between the Tiers. Confusing, yes, but somehow better than having things determined by that God-awful Massey Rating system they used last year. :ohno:
