Ooops...

This sounds a lot like me thinking I was going to have a good year golfing when my first round of the season was 3 over on 18.

Turns out I'm actually closer to 12 over on 18....now, with a new driver (with the flex I actually need rather than something with WAY too much flex) and finally starting to learn how to hit a 60* wedge I'm looking to take about 5 strokes off.

The laugh isn't at her. I have the utmost respect for her, and even being able to make the tourney, and have the low score after the first round.

To take a quote from Teddy Roosevelt.

Far better it is to dare mighty things, to win glorious triumphs, even though checkered by failure, than to take rank with those poor spirits who neither enjoy much nor suffer much, because they live in the gray twilight that knows neither victory nor defeat."
