They just picked up Mets (former Angels) closer K-Rod and cash for two PTNL. This could be huge.

Brewers are really going after it this year. They could be a dangerous team if they can get into the playoffs.

They better win their division, because they won't catch Atlanta for the WC.

I guess this means that the Mets have given up on the season. They are a respectable 46-45 but trail the Phils by 11 games and the Braves by 7.5 in the WC race.
They have had a lot of injuries this year, sounds like they don't plan on contending even if they get healthy.
