Post by dal4018 »

Unfortunately this event does not get the attention it rightfully deserves it starts on Aug.27th ends Sept.4th who will watch. If your a fan of sprints their is a young man named Christophe LeMaitre from France last year he became the first white sprinter ever to clock a sub 10 second race in the 100m and he did it twice 9.98,9.97.This year he has run consistently under 10 recording a pr of 9.92.

Meh.

Forget the 100. Tell me about what's happening in vault-land.

American vault is really down.

We're very strong elsewhere though, including the Dec. Should take multiple medals home in the Dec.

Don't care who wins. Country does not matter. I just love the non-judgmental competition. Run the fastest; throw the farthest; jump the highest or farthest; then it's a gold medal for you. Competition at its' best.

i'm so excited for this.. i don't think the jamaicans are nearly as invincible this year as usain looks like he's hurt or just in terrible shape. unfortunately, they have ridiculous depth with mullings, blake, and asafa with carter and frater helping with the relays.

i think that the american women have a very legit shot at winning every sprint event including the relays as Jeter looks unbeatable, and nobody beats Allyson Felix at the world championships.
