The Little League team from Uganda beat Saudi Arabia last month to earn a spot in the Little League World Series this month in Williamsport, however, due to shoddy records in Uganda, the State Department has denied VISA's to the team and as a result, Saudi Arabia who lost their regional final to Uganda 6-4 were given the spot in Williamsport.

Good. Saudi Arabia has oil. Nothing good has ever come out of Uganada.

I thought it was the razors, condoms, viagra, drivers licenses, pictures of grandchildren, etc. that customs found in their luggage that prevented their entry?

Yea this team would be like that fraud from NY - Danny Almonte or whatever his name was that was a 14 yr old posing as 12. They couldn't verify the paperwork these "kids" had. Besides, they'd get their asses kicked over here anyway - and my old Little League is still alive - unbeaten in regionals - 2 wins from Williamsport!!

the problem wasn't with altered documents, it's with the lack of official documentation overall.

Officials from the Little League headquarters said they were only told by the State Department that the documentation "contained discrepancies."
