Crucial DBacks/Giants series coming up this weekend

Current standings have the DBacks up 6 games on the Giants with a 3-game series this weekend between the two clubs and 25 games left to play. This series will be the final 3 games between the two teams...
pitching match-ups....
Saunders (9-11) vs. Cain (10-9)
Kennedy (17-4) vs. Lincecum (12-11)
Hudson (14-9) vs. Vogelsong (10-5)
a sweep by either team could make things really interesting or lock up the division. GO DBACKS!!!

Well, I have nothing against them. Only winning 1 world series in how many decades doesn't give me much of a reason to hate them other then Barry Bonds but thats more of an individual athlete hatred then a team hatred.

Oh, not much other than the most incredibly boring manager in the history of the game.
Of course, I grew up watching Billy Martin's runnig game, particularly featuring Rickey Henderson. Not many managers are willing to do that anymore, but that dumb@$$ Bochy takes it to extremes.

I grew up a Dodgers fan, so hating the Giants came naturally to me. Now I'm a D-Backs fan...so hating the Giants comes naturally to me.

Not surprising. During the '80s, my two favorite teams were Cincinnati and LA. My favorite pitcher was (and still is) Orel Hershiser. While I did like individual Giants like Atlee Hammaker and Rick Reuschel, in general, I've never liked that team. In my neck of the woods, that gets me in trouble.
But what's up with the Bay Area, anyway? You guys remember the Quake Series? Fans went to the games wearing split A's/Giants hats. I don't think there's ANY danger of that happening in NY or Chi.
