Florida Marlins No More

In 2012 The Marlins will not only be opening a new stadium, but they will be sporting a new name. At seasons end the Florida Marlins will be no more, as the team will officially change names to the Miami Marlins.

makes sense - 37-40k is about right for a ballpark.

makes sense - 37-40k is about right for a ballpark.
I agree, while that is small in regards to other ballparks. I think its the right size for the Marlins.

Also told its better to have events in a smaller venue and have the event sold out then have the same event in a larger venue with the same amount of people and have it look empty.

and South Florida, and then eventually UMass who will be playing their home games in Gillette Stadium.

I was gonna post the same thing. :lol:

This was discussed by the Phils broadcast team on game one of the last series the Phils played down there.
