I take most of that as mental warfare. Get your opponent worried, no big deal really. As long as they don't do a cheap shot and play within the rules, I don't see any problem with it.

Just saw this on ESPN and I know its football but why would you say something like this publicly?

For once, I hope the cowboys destroy the deadskins. Thought someone said it best on Around the Horn...I think it might have been Bomani Jones on ATH that wished DeAngelo Hall good luck on getting to the QB since he only has 1.5 sacks in his whole career.

I really have no problem with this. He's a cowboy and I'm all in favoring of targetting cowboys. Not sure what the angst is about here.

Only people that don't know football. Everyone that knows the game knows Romo will be targeted. It's Romo's rib that is hurt, with the current NFL rules the ribs are about the only place you're allowed to hit the QB anymore. The hit probably won't even be illegal, this is a non-issue.
