It was like Romo tried to give the game away. Now I'm starting to think he does this on purpose to keep his name in the headlines.Grizalltheway wrote:...should have subbed in Danny White! What an epic meltdown!![]()

it's just to ensure that the Colin Cowherd show has something to talk about on Monday.SDHornet wrote:It was like Romo tried to give the game away. Let me stew in silence, bad enough I gotta get this crap at homeGrizalltheway wrote:Come on, TJ and SH, this thread is worthless without at least one of you..
I suggested last year that they subdivide that billion dollar video screen into about 300 different feeds and turn the stadium into a sports bar serving 100K.Wedgebuster wrote:And hey, how about a ticket search and a challenge party at the big house this fall, huh?
Another couple games like these and there will be Dallas fans going to ice cream socials after church instead of going to a 'Boys game.
I wouldn't say the games aren't good, as a fan you get everything: long pass plays, pick 6's, exciting scrambles. Everything but a Cowboys win, who wouldn't want that?ASUG8 wrote:I suggested last year that they subdivide that billion dollar video screen into about 300 different feeds and turn the stadium into a sports bar serving 100K.Wedgebuster wrote:And hey, how about a ticket search and a challenge party at the big house this fall, huh?

A lot of good things, only I'd still be padding Jerry's pocket with the price of admission.tampajag wrote:I wouldn't say the games aren't good, as a fan you get everything: long pass plays, pick 6's, exciting scrambles. Everything but a Cowboys win, who wouldn't want that?ASUG8 wrote:

I actually think you do that with any purchase you make in the Dallas/Fort Worth areaASUG8 wrote:A lot of good things, only I'd still be padding Jerry's pocket with the price of admission.tampajag wrote: I wouldn't say the games aren't good, as a fan you get everything: long pass plays, pick 6's, exciting scrambles. they went on and on about the Vikes choke job last week... the difference? espn doesn't have ed werder covering just the vikings.Vidav wrote:Honest question. Cowboys have this meltdown and lose and everyone talks about it, not just here, for a week. The Vikings do the same thing last week and we only hear about it for an hour after the game.
Why are the Cowboys special like that?

The Cowboys are like the Yankees - you either love or hate them, and not a lot of middle ground. A lot of years of success tends to polarize people IMHO.tampajag wrote:ASUG8 wrote:
America's team.People don't really care about the Vikings, people claim to hate the Cowboys but they are more concerned about them than I am at times.
I agree, but it's just funny because Dallas hasn't been successful since 1995. That line doesn't work here since most of the board is smart. I like to use on Johnny come lately NFL fans. They have no answer for it.ASUG8 wrote:The Cowboys are like the Yankees - you either love or hate them, and not a lot of middle ground. I just don't like Texas in general.tampajag wrote:I agree, but it's just funny because Dallas hasn't been successful since 1995. That line doesn't work here since most of the board is smart. I like to use on Johnny come lately NFL fans. They have no answer for it.ASUG8 wrote:

I watched Rugby and Aussie Rules Football on Sunday rather than the Vikes......Well, mostly because I had both on the TiVo and I didn't get the Vikings game in Cedar Falls....I got the Bears game, and a game of much regional interest...Steelers/Texans.TwinTownBisonFan wrote:they went on and on about the Vikes choke job last week... the difference? espn doesn't have ed werder covering just the vikings.Vidav wrote:Honest question. that, and at least locally - the detroit loss was huge... what is more surprising, is that around the Twin Cities... the Chiefs loss has been met with - that's it... it's over. Four weeks in to the season and people are already talking about the Wild season.
I actually don't like Texas since my ex-wife moved there. But I'll always love the Cowboys.Grizalltheway wrote:I just don't like Texas in general.tampajag wrote: I agree, but it's just funny because Dallas hasn't been successful since 1995.
