It was like Romo tried to give the game away. Now I'm starting to think he does this on purpose to keep his name in the headlines.

it's just to ensure that the Colin Cowherd show has something to talk about on Monday.

Next week he'll dislocate his shoulder and throw a game winner with his left hand... and he'll be an overrated hero again...

why they can't just realize... he's a good quarterback... not a great one. He'll piss down his leg as often as be the hero.

The Cowboys are awesome, league would suck with out 'em.

And hey, how about a ticket search and a challenge party at the big house this fall, huh?

Another couple games like these and there will be Dallas fans going to ice cream socials after church instead of going to a 'Boys game.

I realize GATW is trying to have a joke at my expense, but the idea isn't all that bad. Even at 50-something, D. White can't do any worse than Romo's doing. If only we can get him in there in place of McBriar, too....

Let me stew in silence, bad enough I gotta get this crap at home  Anybody that knows me knows how I feel about Romo. This was a textbook Romo game.

I suggested last year that they subdivide that billion dollar video screen into about 300 different feeds and turn the stadium into a sports bar serving 100K. The 'Boys could still play on the field, but people would have the option of watching a good game on TV.

I wouldn't say the games aren't good, as a fan you get everything: long pass plays, pick 6's, exciting scrambles. Everything but a Cowboys win, who wouldn't want that? :coffee:

A lot of good things, only I'd still be padding Jerry's pocket with the price of admission. :tothehand:

I actually think you do that with any purchase you make in the Dallas/Fort Worth area

Honest question. Cowboys have this meltdown and lose and everyone talks about it, not just here, for a week. The Vikings do the same thing last week and we only hear about it for an hour after the game.

Why are the Cowboys special like that?

they went on and on about the Vikes choke job last week... the difference? espn doesn't have ed werder covering just the vikings.

that, and at least locally - the detroit loss was huge... what is more surprising, is that around the Twin Cities... the Chiefs loss has been met with - that's it... it's over. Four weeks in to the season and people are already talking about the Wild season.

:+1: People don't really care about the Vikings, people claim to hate the Cowboys but they are more concerned about them than I am at times.

The Cowboys are like the Yankees - you either love or hate them, and not a lot of middle ground. A lot of years of success tends to polarize people IMHO.

I agree, but it's just funny because Dallas hasn't been successful since 1995. That line doesn't work here since most of the board is smart. I like to use on Johnny come lately NFL fans. They have no answer for it.

I just don't like Texas in general. :coffee:

Even though my mom was born there.

I watched Rugby and Aussie Rules Football on Sunday rather than the Vikes......Well, mostly because I had both on the TiVo and I didn't get the Vikings game in Cedar Falls....I got the Bears game, and a game of much regional interest...Steelers/Texans.

Apparently Cedar Falls isn't in the Minnesota or Kansas City area - even though it's 4 hours from Minneapolis and 5 or 6 from KC.

I actually don't like Texas since my ex-wife moved there. But I'll always love the Cowboys.
