A good team with the benefit of a weak ass schedule. Anything less than 14-2 would be a disappointment.

How do they get a weak ass schedule with a Super Bowl win last year?

Also, the NFC North is arguably one of the very toughest in the NFL, that can't be contributing to this weak ass schedule.

Guess I disagree.

The NFC Norse is relatively strong this year, and they have to travel to San Diego, New York and Atlanta...

don't worry - if they stop winning he'll find a new "team he's supported his whole life" :coffee:

I could care less, I've got more ammo than they realize. :thumb:

And in the literal meaning I do as well.

I think because they are not likely to lose a home game this year, folks will get bored with going to the game and a fella might find some unused tix laying around the place in the next couple weeks??

Guess I disagree.
Whether they won the Super Bowl last or not has nothing to do with how tough their schedule was going to be. Each team plays a certain in Conference Division and a certain out of Conference Division and they rotate every year.

It just so happens that the NFC North gets the AFC West this year and therefore the benefit of playing those teams. The NFC North also drew the NFC South and not a lot of people would consider that Division easy with 3 teams winning 10 games last year.

Because Green Bay finished 2nd in the NFC North last year, they drew the 2nd place teams of the NFC West (STL) and NFC East (NYG). St. Louis wasn't suppose to be this bad and only add fuel to the "weak schedule" fire. But Detroit being better than expected kind of makes up for that

For what it is worth, next year the NFC North draws the AFC South and the NFC West and will probably get New Orleans and the NY Giants again if they win their divisions...

By the way, I realize you were on the side of saying that they didn't get an easy schedule

Maybe. My brother contacted me this past weekend. He's got four seats at the 50 yard line lower level for the Packers/Lions game on January 1. I'm seriously considering going. They ain't cheap though.

Only you could come up with this. Lynn Dickey has a special place in my football hard drive, he brought winning football to Manhattan Kansas for the very first time, pretty darn good pro as well.
