The Marlins Should Just Pack It In And Call It Quits

First we had the release of their.... well theres no real nice way to address the new logo...
Now we learn that beyond the outfield wall will be a thing that happens when the team hits a homerun... and my guess is fans will hope the Marlin never hit a homerun at home... if they do, this is what you will see.

The logo is... well, it's not MLB... but: Had the Miami Marlins been an MLB team in 1961, this is probably what they'd have looked like.
The mid-century thing was very hot about a year ago when they started working on this... that can be my only guess.
As for the celebration thing... they need something "uniquely Miami" to draw crowds... i don't love it... but then as a Twins fan, we - thankfully - don't do that kind of shit.

smh...that "home run" display is f*cking horrible
Too much stuff going on, overly elaborate.
And the logo, I'm not a fan but it could be worse i guess, I know that Loria wants to incorporate orange into the team colors, but TEAL AND BLACK FOREVER!

the only thing i hate more are teams that don't have black in their uniforms adding black just for the hell of it...

The colors that are ever-present in the city are teal, orange and pink...

Honestly, if the white part of the logo and name on the jersey was black, it really wouldn't look as bad...
