Help, I've fallen and I can't get up! Give me a break, he can strike out with a torn achillies just as easily as he can a healthy one.UNHWildCats wrote:He told reporters he thinks its torn, MRI tomorrow. Recovery from a torn achillies is between 6 and 12 months.
the number of philly friends who are expressing this or worse right now is actually kind of sad...BlueHen86 wrote:Help, I've fallen and I can't get up! I hope he's okay. But him saying that he thinks he tore his achillies just sounds like he's looking for sympathy, and now isn't the time for that.TwinTownBisonFan wrote:the number of philly friends who are expressing this or worse right now is actually kind of sad...BlueHen86 wrote:

I dunno - you look at the way he went down - it looked like he was shot...BlueHen86 wrote:I hope he's okay. But him saying that he thinks he tore his achillies just sounds like he's looking for sympathy, and now isn't the time for that.TwinTownBisonFan wrote:

I don't doubt that he's hurt. But he's a friggen professional athlete and he can't run 90 feet? Sorry, I'm fat and out of shape, and I've never torn my achillies.TwinTownBisonFan wrote:I dunno - you look at the way he went down - it looked like he was shot...BlueHen86 wrote:

I get that Phils fans are bitter and disappointed - but (less you than some others) some of the nasty shit that is being said about it is just shocking...
This is Philly were talking about here...what do you expect from that fanbase?TwinTownBisonFan wrote:I dunno - you look at the way he went down - it looked like he was shot...BlueHen86 wrote:

For me, the viability of that would depend on which foot he blew out. If it's his plant foot, he's probably done. But if it's the OTHER foot, then we have THIS:BlueHen86 wrote:Help, I've fallen and I can't get up! Give me a break, he can strike out with a torn achillies just as easily as he can a healthy one.
We booed him and spoke ill of him, therefore we suck. We are much worse than fans who assault opposing fans and put them in the hospital.DSUrocks07 wrote:This is Philly were talking about here...what do you expect from that fanbase?TwinTownBisonFan wrote:

JD Drew is gonna be a free agent... You guys can sign him and give the fans down the RF line and in RF seats someone to heckle for about 20 games a season.BlueHen86 wrote:We booed him and spoke ill of him, therefore we suck. at this point who would want Hanley? He's been coming off worse than Manny being Manny.DSUrocks07 wrote:If you guys are so hellbent on getting rid of him, send him down to Florida for Hanley and G. Sanchez. Provided that you eat some of that contract of course. We need a big bat to protect Stanton...plus the 30+ HRs and 100+RBIs wouldn't hurt either
