I was listening to it on the radio which probably made it even more dramatic. Eagles had come back from 31-14 to get one final shot to tie it. Bills get stuffed on three plays to 4th and short and Eagles burn final timeout. Minute and a half left. Merrill Reese says "well we know the Bills might try to draw the Eagles offside to see if someone is dumb enough to jump and end the game."

The rest is history.

Reid needs to be gone. Like seven years ago.

What? That's just dumb fan talk right there. Eagles have been to the playoffs probably more than 90% of the league during his tenure, and he has a bunch of playoff wins during those appearances, and a super bowl appearance.

The Bills sent the punt team on the field, and then pulled them off. Everyone knew they weren't going to snap the ball.

I hope Reid stays, for many of the reasons you gave but...

He's never won the SB, and even SB winners get fired on occasion. The team makes the same dumb mistakes every year, and every year Reid gives the same press conference sound bites.

It's not dumb fan talk to discuss Reid's departure. He's a great coach, but it might be time for a change.
