two threads on the world series is about as useful as the 15 bajillion threads on ODU/Towson, or all the Red Sox threads.

Don't worry about all the haters. Keep posting for those of us who aren't actually watching the series. It's convenient to be able to see the result in a topic title without having to open it. If you could add the score in the title, that would be a nice touch.

The problem is you aren't one of the Phillies Phans that I want to torment. They're avoiding all discussion of baseball right now.

Last night was a great game. Shame that least coast snobs can't appreciate good baseball.

The funny thing is that aside from the Yankees, eastern baseball has pretty much sucked. The Phillies have more losses than any other MLB franchise. The Red Sox had "The Curse" and didn't win shit for many decades. The multiple iterations of the Washington Senators/Nationals are jokes. Pittsburgh hasn't had a winning season in god knows how long. The Mets? Get serious. How long has it been since the Orioles made the post-season?
