He feels that the outgoing Pac-10 commissioner wouldn't have allowed it, but new blood will make the change.AZGrizFan wrote:I voted for Florida, but feel that Utah would give either one a run for their money, and won't get that chance because they're not in the right conference.![]()

Yeah....that's kind of the way I saw it. The analyst's issue with BOTH Utah AND BYU is that it's the same market. UNLV brings the Vegas market into the Pac-10 (12?). I think, from a talent standpoint, Utah/BYU makes a lot more sense, and they automatically become the #2 and #4 teams in the conference on a regular basis...dbackjon wrote:That would be interesting. I'd assume the Pac 10 would want BYU and Utah as a pair.
That would trigger the MWC raiding the WAC for Boise and probably Fresno.
That could lead to some FCS schools joining the WAC...
Hmmmm
Not sure how much the Vegas Market brings, plus the football sucks, low attendance, money problems. No way UNLV goes to the Pac-10.AZGrizFan wrote:Yeah....that's kind of the way I saw it.
