If the Astros sale to Jim Crane is approved, Crane has agreed to move the Astros to the American League in 2013. As part of the deal he will get a $50 million discount on the sale price of the team. Bob Nightengale reports a $80 million incentive for going to the AL, so not sure where the other $30 million comes in.

Stupid. Having BOTH teams in a two-team state in one league is freaking dumb.

How about moving the Astros to AAA.

Philly & Pittsburgh are in the same state only in a geographical sense. Draw a line after Lancaster on west & it's 2 different worlds. Hell, it's still 1978 in Pittsburgh.

I don't know if I agree with the stupid on the both teams in same league, get them in the same division and it could get real fun to watch actually


However, I do agree with moving the Brewers back.
