Nice slanderous accusation, counselor.JoltinJoe wrote:dback, I feel for you. I know exactly how you feel.dbackjon wrote:I want a do over on the playoffs. No way the Brewers beat AZ without Braun![]()
But unfortunately you don't get a do-over when the other team has a big PED cheater. I learned that after the 2001 World Series.
You would've thought having even more PED cheaters than the other team would've done the trick for you in 2001 - I seem to recall Pettitte, Clemens, Justice, and Knoblauch all on the Yankees' roster that year. Probably should've had more cheaters. Explains the whole A-Rod acquisition afterwards, I suppose. Needed more cheaters.JoltinJoe wrote:dback, I feel for you. Was HGH banned back then? Still doesn't mean they can't be better than anyone else without proper work ethics.
Nah, just illegal without a prescription, and these guys weren't getting prescriptions. And sure, he used it for recovery purposes - that's what everyone uses them for. Doesn't make it legit though. Dude was a cheater.Seahawks08 wrote:Was HGH banned back then? True but that fancy new contract he signed isn't going anywhere. The MLBPA will never allow the owners to put PEDs clauses into the contracts. The players have it made in regards to all this.bluehenbillk wrote:Weel the dude gets paid for playing 112/162 games, the 50 is not paid.

If Braun has been using for a while and just now is getting caught, he may become a .290, 25, 90 hitter. I don't think that is what the Brewers had in mind when they gave him all that money.
Still trying to figure out what happened to his beloved Panthers.AZGrizFan wrote:MSUDuo wrote:

If a pitcher can win MVP playing in 35 games, then there is still hope for Mauer.AZGrizFan wrote:MSUDuo wrote:
